I decided to work with Chris because I thought he could help me convert likes and follows into customers. Prior to working together I had had success building a following, but I wasn't exactly sure how to transition this to sales. Working together through our 1:1 sessions and DM coaching has helped me focus my efforts on things that actually will make a difference and has kept me accountable to follow through with the plan. Since we've started I've figured out the type of video and stories that actually bring in sales and inquiries. I wanted to start this coaching journey with Chris because I was in desperate need to move away from teaching "for peanuts" and really wanted to take control of my own work/life balance. I have run my own businesses in the UK for the past 13 years and couldn’t stand being underpaid and letting company’s take advantage of me and my situation of trying to work remotely from Thailand. We tackled together my camera angle and sound quality to make my videos more professional. Chris has not just given me a blueprint that he uses with all teachers. I feel like I have defined my brand and I feel like I stand out by being different from the sea of other teachers online. One huge thing I’ve realised is that I don’t need to teach kids. I initially reached out to Chris because I was in the process of leaving a teaching marketplace and going independent, but I was really confused and stuck on my pricing. I definitely had a severe case of imposter syndrome, accompanied by a scarcity mindset. Earlier in my teaching journey, I didn't know where to turn for help and resorted to Facebook groups and Reddit. However, I was left feeling even more confused due to the lack of replies or mixed responses. So when I contacted Chris, I primarily sought help with pricing my services (1:1 classes and groups) because I genuinely had no idea what to do. Chris came to our session with specific formulas for my pricing based on financial goals he asked me to set, and this was the first time anyone had suggested this approach. Previously, all the advice I had received was, "Check to see what other teachers in your field/location are charging." That was the approach I had been taking, but having someone bring proper formulas and mathematical reasoning based on my personal goals was incredibly helpful and empowering. Since going independent, I achieved my first $5k month, and for the first time ever, I sold out a group course that I regularly run, with a $10 per lesson increase based on Chris’s formula. I never thought this would be possible, as I always believed the barrier to selling out my group courses was my pricing, but Chris was able to validate both me and my prices. It’s something I had never considered, but because of that, I was able to adjust my schedule to something that better suited me without a loss of income. I wanted a coaching day tailored to my specific needs. I struggled in the past with self paced courses even if they were a month long & being kind of left to my own devices so I'm not sure what I am learning and putting into practice is even correct. It's a bit like reading how to play tennis but never actually coming round to touching a tennis racket. After initially thinking ''I'm still not getting something again'' I sat down and wrote quite a few scripts for the reels and got the practical advice. I understood better the theory behind producing reels that are specifically targeted at my audience and has more meaning to it, rather than just jumping on the camera for the sake of posting a reel. I managed to learn more about my target audience & their needs, hurdles but also to look at myself as a teacher & a person from a different perspective. I really liked that we didn't try to compromise who I am & we don't write a bio just because it will be popular or because everyone else is doing it and it's trendy. I would definitely recommend Chris! If you're stuck and not sure how to move forward or you hoarded some online courses and still can't go through them & apply the knowledge into real life or you bought the courses that take few months to complete and you feel overwhelmed - I'd say to reach out to you, Chris and do one day of coaching where you actually end the day with completed tasks. I feel like finally have some direction with my content & I'm excited to film the reels and post them on social media & see how things will unfold for me. He provides practical knowledge, individual approach, lots of feedback. I really loved that it's very practical, and that you were giving me small tasks to complete throughout the day and gave me feedback right away before we moved onto the next task. And it worked really well for me as I knew what I'm doing and you were constantly checking if I understood.

I have joined the workshop organised by Chris. First of all, it was a very positive space and Chris and other people on the call made me very welcomed as a newbie. It was great to connect with others especially because as online teachers we can't really mingle with others in an open desk co-working space settings. I like that Chris shared some knowledge with us in a very approachable manner that was easy to understand. I found it very beneficial that he shared the theory on the topic and then showed us how this knowledge can be applied in practice by sharing examples of content and his commentary. I found it really useful and easy to digest because he uses a simple language to deliver the knowledge on the subject. And it's widely seen now that many experts use some fancy shmancy jargon in their workshops and then we leave the session even more confused and not knowing what we actually listen to. That's definitely not the case with Chris! After his workshop I actually came up with some ideas for my content and I'm excited to create some content where before it felt like a scary daunting task.
